The world of blogging can sometimes be compared to arriving in a foreign country where you don’t understand the lingo and it seems that all the locals aren’t very interested in helping you.
And no amount of arm waving, speaking a little louder and even drawing things on bits of paper make much of a difference.
So you go to the nearest bookshop and manage to buy a translation guide book. But even by reading this carefully, you can’t make head or tail of it. It still looks like a load of gobbledegook.
What you really need is…
Someone who understands how to speak your language and has been living in this strange land for some time.
Someone who has also been through the angst of having to learn to speak like the natives, understands the social complexities of this different world and has come out the other side relatively sane and smiling.
Someone who understands what you are going through, is willing to listen to any anxieties, problems and difficulties, however small and trivial, or large and complex, and can provide simple, effective solutions in a way that is totally designed for you and your blog.
This is an ever changing world
I know how difficult blogging can be for someone who is closer to being a baby boomer than a millennial baby. I’m sure our children’s brains have evolved over the past 20 years to cope with the fast pace of technology.
I’m quite happy to tell you even I find it hard to keep up with the pace. Even the other day someone caught me out because I hadn’t known a particular video provider had recently updated to become more compatible with blogs. It seems that even being 5 minutes out of date can make you look stupid.
However, there are still plenty of things about blogging that don’t rely on the latest gadgetry or applications. Even so, blogging itself has moved on considerably since over a decade ago when I first struggled to make sense of it all.
My main focus is to make the process of blogging as simple as possible. Because blogging should not become difficult in any shape or form. The young may whizz the world by, but I prefer to be like the tortoise rather than the hare, and eventually arrive first at the finishing post.
Let me wave my magic wand
Over the past 10 years or so, I’ve been very curious and nosy bizzibody. I’ve not been afraid to click on a button or find out what that particular icon does.
Because of this, I have found out a lot about blogging and how it works. And I’ve analysed it, put two and two together, and come up with solutions and conclusions for simple blogging.
WordPress and other blogging platforms may be constantly evolving (to keep the younger set happy I suppose), but I absorb what’s going on, bung it all into my cauldron, wave some fairy dust over it and bring forth potions that can transform any confused would-be blogger into an expert online writer!
Actually most of this is up to you! What I can do is certainly set you on the right path and guide you across the stony ground that could hamper your progress along the way.
Because if you are able to really understand your blog and how it works, then this can take away the confusion and anxiety that hinders your writing and makes your blog a success.
So what about you?
- Do you want to simplify the whole process of blogging?
- Do you want to feel comfortable whenever you open up your blog to start writing?
- Do you want to feel confident about your blog, how it looks, and how you manage it?
- Do you want reassurance about your blogging and any other activities online?
- Do you want to be able to cope with any changes that may happen in the future?
- Are you curious about every aspect of your blog and whether it’s worth knowing about it?
- Do you want to understand how to make your blog better for what you want to achieve?
These questions are probably just the tip of the iceberg of your blogging anxieties, worries and confusion. If you are brave enough, why not let me know your questions in the comment box below?
In the meantime, you need to consider whether what you are going to do. Will you continue to struggle coping on your own, or would you like some friendly, knowledgeable and empathetic help to sort out all this blogging thing once and for all?
If you want the whole blogging thing simply explained, try this!
Click on the button below and ask to speak with me. It could be in the form of an email, a telephone call, a Skype call, or even a coffee meeting if you’re local to me.
If you don’t make that initial contact, you’ll never know what you’re capable of, what your blog is capable of, and what the future can hold for you and your blog.
