Fabulous new website for an up-and-coming copywriter
Sometimes I do work that I am very proud of, which is a result of bringing together multiple expertise under one roof.
Last week I have been working very hard on creating a brand new website for Lindsay McLoughlin of Proofed by Linds. She, in turn, collaborated with her designer, Dawn Lillington of Brand New Dawn (another advocate of purple, I note!) to create some fabulous banners and logos. We put them all together in website formation, and here is the result:
Lindsay herself, being a copywriter, provided the excellent content, including all her blog posts she has been writing over the last nine months in her WordPress.com blog (which I also helped her to create).
She is taking blogging a stage further, and now sells her expertise, time and space to promote businesses through her Writer meets… commissioned post programme. This needed to be differentiated from the rest of the site, so a special banner was created by Dawn to only highlight this category:
And the technical part I am proud of is that this banner is transferred over to each Writer meets… post as well.
Click on the images to view the website and let me know what you think. I’m sure both Lindsay and Dawn would be interested in your comments as well.

Lovely – well done. Love the colours and the artwork. Sponsored blogging is a great idea too. Good luck with the site Lindsay!
Thanks Rosemarie! Glad you approve. Have you gone down the sponsored blogging route yet?
